German blog entry

Chestnut Trifle

You can use sweetened chestnut puree or cream. You’d normally find it in the jam department of your supermarket. If you use unsweetened chestnut puree, then add 1 teaspoon of honey.

Per glass:

3 ladyfingers or cookies
2 tablespoons of red fruit juice or a red smoothie
2 teaspoons chestnut puree or cream
3 tablespoons Greek yoghurt
a pinch of cinnamon
½ teaspoon cranberry compote/sauce

Break the ladyfingers/cookies into small pieces and put them into the serving glass. Drizzle the fruit juice/smoothie over the broken cookies. Mix the chestnut purée/cream with with 2 tablespoons of the yoghurt and the cinnamon. Put onto the cookies. Put the rest of the yoghurt on top of the chestnut cream. Put the cranberry sauce on the yoghurt. Ready! 😉

And here’s another quick trifle:
